North & South Lewis Community

As a cooperative property, the residents of the North and South Lewis Place Cooperative do take excellent care of the buildings and grounds. With an able superintendent on site to help if the need arises, the cooperative's operations run very smoothly. Maintenance fees, which are low for Long Island($658/month with STAR), cover lawn care, snow and leaf removal, gas, water, and building maintenance (roof, sidewalks, walkways). Also, please be aware, a good chunk of the maintenance is tax deductible. The co-op also has two laundry rooms, a bicycle storage room, and a storage locker for seasonal goods.
